TheDaegokcheon Stream Petroglyphs areworks ofrock art engraved on three-kilometer-long cliffs located in theDaegokcheon Stream,Ulsan City,in thesoutheast ofKorea.They include theBangudae Petroglyphs in Daegok-ri(National Treasure No.285) and thePetroglyphs in Cheonjeon-ri (NationalTreasure No.147,pictured on this page).In existence since the prehistoric age,thepetroglyphs are all still virtually intact,asare the other diverse relics in this region.The Daegokcheon Stream area wasincluded on UNESCO’s Tentative List of World Heritage sites in January 2010.
