Apathy subsided

by Taropa Ada

Red cranberry seeds,

Garnished

With frozen dew,

Paint the forest’s edge.

Swarms of leafs

Float silently in the grey

Foggy winds,

Just like the bees

Before them,

Just like the flakes

in winter.

The grass underneath,

Has forgotten

The many mornings of sun,

When the earth

smells like the sky.
