A full understanding of the rules and acting with them in conformity is the primary step in any photo competition. I observed that many entries never make it into a photo competition because it failed to follow the rules of the contest. Never disregard the photo contest rules! You may not know but some photo contests have additional rules or some last minute rules that are announced a few days before the photo contests. You must keep yourself updated and know everything to be prepared.
