 Town planning Schemes :
The town planning department prepares the scheme for
the improvement of a certain area, which includes
land owned by various land owners.

 Development Authority projects:

plan for the city. They usually get the land acquired
through the Central land Acquisition Act of 1894 and
then develop the land.
 Housing Board projects:
Housing boards are state level organizations whose objective is to
develop housing.

 Cooperative Society Projects:

In this, the Society arranges for land by constructing houses on its own.

 Pvt. Real Estate Developers:

Real Estate Developer purchases land from the landowner. After getting
all the required permission from various govt. agencies, the real estate
developer does the booking of the houses and collects advance money
from the end users.
 Public-pvt. Partnership:
these are Partnerships between the pvt. Sector and
the govt. such partnerships between the govt.
organization like the development authorities and
pvt. Business enterprises such as real estate
developers are encouraged.
