Bradford Municipal Forest discussion; will continue to advocate for conserving atnext Selectboard meeting and publicly if it becomes an article on the warning for Town Meeting
Education
NEEEA Conference – Nancy, Sandy, Jim McCracken & possibly Ro Williams will beattendingEnvironmental Action Conference Saturday, November 14

at VTC; $30 registration Feeplus $8 for lunch; all members urged to attend- Go to www.vtenvironmentalaction.orgto get the details.Film Series – Sandy & Nancy have not worked on this yetPeter Hirsh, who did Biochar workshop at LEAF, will come and do a 6-hour workshop for$800; Nancy suggested using the woodpile at the depot to create biochar;consensus was that $800 is too expensive; Hirsh did similar workshop in Warner NHand participants paid a registration fee

Message from Monique – for a graduate course she’s developing a marketing strategyusing Mobile phones; will include text message alerts for up-coming events, amechanism for donating using a cell phone, and a simple mobile website thatsmartphones could use and download trail maps. She’ll develop this for BCC in casewe would like to use it in the future. No other ideas were proposed by the group, butwere please with her ideas.Property Inventory – needs to be completed for Town Insurance; need to find value of gate, the brush cutter and toolsArticle for Town Warning for $5,000 allocation for Conservation Fund – Nancy willcomplete form and bring to next meeting for approval before submitting toSelectboard
