Dear Lindsey,

Several months back you contacted me regarding childcare. I wanted to let you know that we
will be relocating and expanding over the next month and will have limited space available for additional
children. There are many exciting things planned for the expansion including “centers” or learning areas
for the children to explore individually. These areas will include the following:

Science/Nature

Literacy/Reading

Manipulatives (puzzles, lacing, stringing)

Sensory (sand and water and place to explore the 5 senses)

Block and train table

Large motor (moving and climbing)

Music (with musical instruments)

Dramatic play (kitchen set, dress-up, career exploration, dolls, playing house)

Art (process not product-see below)

*children will be given ideas and freedom to choose the tools. The picture will be his or her own
creation. We will not be doing the traditional so-called “art” where the teacher cuts out pieces of paper
and the child glues them onto a pre-cut picture. This type of project does not delve into the imagination.

We will remain a small family-based daycare with a maximum capacity of 8. We feel this ensures
children will continue to get the one-on-one attention they deserve.

Please call as soon as possible if you are still interested. Come see how much fun preschool learning can
be.

Sincerely,

Tracy Zastrow
