To Whom It May Concern:
It is a pleasure to write this letter on behalf of Kara Gardner who has been a student teacher in
our building through the fall semester. She is clearly a “go getter”. Not only has Kara completed
a highly satisfactory student teaching assignment, she is now substitute teaching half days in
the Young Fives classroom while the teacher is on medical leave. In addition, Kara is also
coaching in a neighboring school district. She will bring more marketable skills to the interview
table when she completes her special education endorsement during the winter term. Many
young professionals would not be able to juggle such a busy schedule, but Kara does this with
energy and willingness that will carry her far in her teaching.
Kara displays a confidence and capacity to work with a wide range of children- from Young Fives
to fourth grade. This experience, along with her excellent teacher preparation from Siena
Heights University, will give a potential employer a highly qualified candidate within an
elementary school. Her special education certification will add a secondary level to her
credentials. Please consider Kara Gardner for your next available teaching position. She will be
an asset to your staff.
Sincerely,
Marcia Wright 4
