There she sat beside the window
Full moon shines high above
Her head bowed, soul cry in silence
What ultimate price she paid for love
There on bedside table a slip lay

She knows not why he chose deceit
Her love and passion suffered defeat
She gave him all but dejected now

In a remote corner of the cursed slip
Shines a small NO crossed by a big red X
In small letters – “You Are My love forever
Twice making love at night ,now take a tease”
Breaking in wild giggle he cornered her
Pressed her hard in hug, said “You know
You are My Love Forever, Charm of Heaven
It’s for you that love in earth does flow”
No words spoken, still silently sobbing
She rested her face on his bosom
He softly lifted her in his strong arms
Kissed her lips, felt her heart’s throbbing
