Abstract
Joy Division was a band from Manchester, England, which wasactive from 1976 until the death of their singer, in 1980. Wascomposed of Ian Curtis (vocals), Peter Hook (bass), Bernard Summer (Guitar, keyboards) and Stephen Morris (drums). Just reached recordtwo albums because of its short life, however are two albums that marked thetime, leaving a musical legacy that few have achieved.
Resumen
Joy Division fue una banda originaria de Manchester, Inglaterra, que estuvo activadesde 1976 hasta la muerte de su vocalista, en 1980. Estuvo integrada por IanCurtis (vocalista), Peter Hook (bajo), Bernard Summer (guitarra y teclados) yStephen Morris (Batería). Solo alcanzaron a grabar dos álbumes debido a su cortavida, empero son dos discos que marcaron la época, dejando un legado musicalque pocos han podido realizar.
