Greetings and congratulations on your use of a Truth & Beauty Lab Pandorabot. HOW TO CHAT WITH A PANDORABOT
Pandorabots listen to Local Chat. To chat with a Pandorabot, simply type somethingin Local Chat. Pandorabots can be configured to respond either to all local chat oronly to local chat which includes either the first or last name of the Pandorabot.In this case, preface your local chat with the Pandorabot's first or last name. Forexample, “ana, what is the meaning of life” would prompt a response from aPandorabot named “Ana Pandorabot”.
HOW TO TURN A PANDORABOT OFF/ON
The owner of a Pandorabot can choose to configure the item to listen for verbalshutoff commands from the owner, an authorized group, or any resident. In this modethe Pandorabot will turn itself off when hearing any of the following phrases:"shut up", "shut up.", "shut up!", "be quiet.", or "be quiet".Touch (left mouse click) a disabled Pandorabot to turn it back on. The dialog menucan also be used to turn Pandorabots off and on.
HOW TO QUERY WIKIPEDIA WITH A PANDORABOT
Pandorabots can be used to query Wikipedia and return the introductory Wikipediasummary of an article. To do so, use one of the trigger phrases below:"what is ”"what's ""what're ""what is a ""what is an ""what is the ""what are ""what are the ""what's a ""what's an ""who is""who are""who're""who's"Pandorabots can be configured to automatically detect the user's language. If thisis the case then the above trigger phrases can be chatted in Nihongo, Russkiy,Nederlands, Português, Polski, Italiano, Español, Français, Deutsch or English.For example, to query Wikipedia for the introductory summary of the article on thefearsome Comanche Chief named Buffalo Hump, say “Who is Buffalo Hump”. To askWikipedia for a summary of the mathematical constant PI, say “What is Pi”. To querythe Spanish Wikipedia for the summary on Picasso, say “quien es picasso”. Note,even though Wikipedia queries are case sensitive the Pandorabot query need not beas the Pandorabot modifies your query using Wikipedia capitalization guidelines.Note that the Pandorabot owner can configure the bot to either query Wikipedia orbypass Wikipedia so Pandorabots may respond differently depending on ownersettings. Further, Pandorabots configured to respond only by name will need to bequeried using their first or last name – e.g. “Ana, what is Pi ?”.
HOW TO QUERY WOLFRAM ALPHA WITH A PANDORABOT
You can submit queries and computation requests to the Wolfram Alpha engine forfactual answers. To do so, use one of the following trigger phrases:"wolfram ”“alpha ““wolfram alpha “For example, to query Wolfram Alpha for facts concerning Bismark, North Dakota say“wolfram Bismark, North Dakota” or “alpha Bismark, North Dakota”. To ask WolframAlpha for the cube root of 383 say “wolfram what is the cube root of 383”. If thesearch query is not found at Wolfram Alpha then the Pandorabot will query Wikipediaand, if no Wikipedia article exists, the Pandorabot will send the query terms topandorabots.com for an AIML programmed response.
HOW TO SEND EMAIL WITH A PANDORABOT
Pandorabots can be configured to support the sending of email by any resident toany valid email address. To do so, use one of the following email triggers:"i want to email ""i would like to email "
