Participants The participants are 30 teachers from 5 primary and 5 secondary schools in Perak. 3 teachers will be selected from each school. They are teachers who are leaching Bahasa Malaysia, | English, Science, Mathematics and Geography. The students of the teachers will also be involved in this study | Methods of Enq a) Observation: Observation will be carried out to answer research questions 2 and 3. Observation will allow data to be gathered in an authentic environment. Researchers will be non-participant observers who will observe classroom learning and also how teachers use the prepared modules b) Questionnaire: A set of questionnaire will be administered to seek answer for research questions 1 and 2 ¢) Semi-structured interviews: The interviews will assists in answoring research questions 1 and 2 Data Analysis The quantitative data collected from the participants will be analyzed using SPSS 17.0 to | obtain descriptive and inferential analysis. Data from the observations, semi-structured interviews and documents will be transcribed, coded and grouped to form themes and sub- themes with the Nvivo 7.0 software Reliability and Validity The reliability of the questionnaire will be checked by Spearman-Brown’s formula by using Cronbach’s Alpha. The research will also develop thinking skills, modules, teacher guidelines, and an online OER for teaching thinking skills. Teachers are also expected to share their practices as a way to continuously upgrade their professional knowledge and skills in teaching
