Times shown in this leaﬂet are rough estimates. We believecycling is too much fun to rush, so on family, easy andmedium difﬁculty rides we will always aim to match thepace of the slowest cyclists.

Family rides are tailored for younger children andless experienced adults.
Easy rides are suitable for everyone and weparticularly welcome people new to cycling.Let us know in advance if you haven't got a bike sowe can try to make one available for you.
Medium rides may be over longer distances orinclude sections on busier roads.
Expert rides cover long distances and are notrecommended for inexperienced cyclists.
Under 16s to be accompanied by a responsible adult
On road rides are suitable for all types of bikes,including racers.Mixed routes will include sections on gravel, toepaths and light mud. Hybrid bikes or mountainbikes recommended.Off road routes will include forest trails and muddy,bumpy surfaces. Mountain bikes recommended.

Rides for absolutely everyone. Our aim is for
an enjoyableafternoon exploring our borough. Young children withresponsible adults especially welcome. The maximumdistance is around 10 miles there and back, but will be
tailoredto those who turn up, so can be considerably shorter.We usually stop along the way for a snack, so apart from abicycle and any children you can round up, we recommendyou also bring some water and something to eat.
