AngelOrnament
This ornament is one o my avoritesor traditional holiday trees. Something about the simple shapes and the way the light plays of the surace seems justright. I you adjust the size, this projectcan double as a tree topper!

Paper Information
For the Angel I usually prefer a minimally printed paper, though sometimes theright metallic design can add a shimmer that works with the folds of the project.The ones shown here were made from an 8" (20.5cm) sheet of paper.
 ANGEL ORNAMENT
1.
Start with the Waterbomb Base(page 26). Fold the bottom cornersto the top.Flip over.
2.
Fold in half, left to right.
3.
On the front layer, fold the rightside to the center.
4.
Fold the bottomcorner up, and then backdown again, but shorterthan before, to create apleat for the leg.
5.a
Swivel squash foldthe leg to make itnarrower. Repeat steps3–5 on the remaininglong flap. Flip over.
Note:
It may help to turnthe flap with the leg you just created and theremaining long flap tothe left before repeating(you will have to mirror  step 3).
5.b 6.
On the front layer,open the flaps.
7.
Fold the top corner to thebottom of the body and then up,but shorter than before, to createa pleat.
8.
Inside reverse fold the bottomcorners of the top triangle.
9.
Fold the left and right cornersalong the existing creases tocreate wings.
