Our task was to design our own TV listings

magazine. You could choose if you wanted to do a
high priced one, middle priced one and low priced
one.

I choose to do a high priced one and based mine on

Radio Times. I choose to design a high priced one
because I like the layout better and it looks more
professional.

On my TV listings front cover I have a large picture

of David Beckham. I have this because a lot of
people like him and he is interesting. The picture is
black and white so it blends well with the title and
background colour. The title is ‘Radio Times’ and is
in black. It is bold and stretches across the top of the
cover. The background colour is a pale to mid blue. It
goes really well with the picture and bold title. The
writing that says how much it is, the date and website
is in dark indigo. The writing about the little stories is
in white and the main words are in red to catch the
audience’s eye. The barcode is in the bottom right
corner of the magazine.
