front of the fireplace in the clubhouse one morning
this week and it sure felt good. The burn ban has
been lifted. Any evening would be good to just sit
of cloud 9 ranch club, inc. around the campfire.

Just a reminder that bow season
is still open and there will be a ten day
muzzle loader season beginning
December 18th. I was out on the Ranch last
night running a coon dog with a member
and we saw two good bucks in the campgrounds, so
there are still some good ones out there. With the
cooler weather, I am going to try to do some more
December 16th thru December 23rd rabbit hunting on some area farms and along the
river. Duck season will open soon also. There are

Fun Addicts Announcement: Horseback Riding

Fun Addicts are now providing the coffee in the
clubhouse for 75¢ per day. Please
be sure to pay each day you get
coffee. All proceeds go toward children
activities on the Ranch. We will be
selling fresh donuts for 75¢ to be
enjoyed with your morning coffee as well.

Horseback Rides will be offered
during winter, you can ride
anywhere from 1 to 5 hours.

SPECIAL THANK YOUS
Special thanks for the combined effort of the
Activities, School House, Craft House,
Conservation, and Bingo Committees and the
Coffee Club for providing funds for the new first
responder kits and the digital LCD big screen TV
for the clubhouse. Thanks to the Activities, School
House, Craft House and Employee Appreciation
Committee for providing funds to purchase hams
for the employees for Christmas. Also, thank you
to the Ranch Riders Club for all the help and
support they have given the different committees
throughout the year and especially for the help with
the poker runs by mapping the poker run routes and
checking the trails for fallen trees and debris prior
to all runs, by flagging the poker run routes, with
the poker run sign ups, manning the check stations
and the card draws.
Due to the hard work and dedication of many
volunteers participating on the various committees,
the many functions and needs of the ranch are met.
Bless all of you and thank you for your giving
hearts and hands of service.

RANCH RIDERS CLUB
Well, another year has come
and gone too quickly. It has been a
memorable camping season with all the trail
rides, cook outs, and campfires.
This year at the Ranch has been one of
the busiest years in a long time with all the
projects the members have been working on.
Several big projects have been completed this
year with the members working together for
progress. It began early in the year with
planting flowers around the Ranch and
making flower beds at the Agape Garden.
Most notably is the Helo Pad at Fogey and the
grand opening ceremony with the Air-Evac
coming in for a landing on July 19th. The
Ranch Wide Project of the Frank Shore’s
Crossing and the handicapped ramp at the
Wilder stage stop and also the sidewalk area
to the Clubhouse was completed by members
also in July in the 100 degree weather. In
July, the skid steer, that was so generously
donated, was delivered to the Ranch for the
RRC to continue trail work and helping out
around the Ranch. Some of the other things
that were accomplished by members working
together was several areas around the Ranch
were cleaned with brush being removed and
trails being worked on. The stream crossing
signs were put up along with replacing some
trail signs and caution signs in different areas
that were missing or destroyed. We were able
to help the Ranch with repairing the road
grader to get it working for the Ranch on the
roads.  
The Ranch Riders are thankful this
holiday season for all of the support you have
given to the Ranch. Most of all we are
thankful to be blessed with the good fortune
to enjoy the beauty that God has created and
we all enjoy here at the Ranch.
