You make a good point. YouTube is definitely having a powerful effect on people's access to information. But other sites, such as this one (Scribd), are also contributing to this. I believe YouTube is a great example of the way the entire internet is changing the rules of how people can view their world, and how we receive information. Thanks to the world wide web, communication has never had fewer obstacles.

this is so effing stupid. YouTube just proves how dumb the 70s and 80s generation were to actually believe that we care about YouTube as a source of political influence. Almost 85 % of everything written about teenagers is wrong@
I am convinced youtube only changed things for the better. We are now able to watch videos of the Tsunami and Korea
