Internet use as part of the educational program atEast Irondequoit Central School Districtis a privilege.
The following actions are not permitted and will not betolerated while using the computers within EICSD:
-Engaging in any form of chat rooms or instant messaging-Sending, displaying, or downloading any offensive or abusivematerial or unacceptable programs-Damaging or altering computers, systems, networks,
workstations, and congurations
-Using any other persons account or passwords or givingaccount access to someone that is not permitted-Using obscene language or harassing others-Intentionally wasting resources and printing supplies-Accessing inappropriate material and websites-Providing personal information of self or others such as fullname, age, addresses, phone numbers, and racial background-Plagiarizing and/or violating any copyright laws
While using the Art Lab, students should be
aware that they are only using the specic programs
that were referred to during instruction.
Adobe Creative Suite 
and
Microsoft Ofce 
have the primary programsthat will be used in the Art Lab. Internet will only beused to search for references to current work. Emailaccounts may be used on a limited basis for instructional
purposes only and for saving and sending les related to
the assignment. Students using the Internet for email,
music, surng websites not related to the educational
material, or watching videos not related to instructionwill be asked to end those tasks or log off of thecomputer.Any user not abiding by the districts policiesand misusing Internet connections shall be immediatelyreported to the school principal. Internet connectionrights may be immediately suspended at the discretion
of the Superintendent. Guardians will be notied and areview of the specics of the case will be held. After
reviewing the details of the case, the principal willmake a recommendation for the student.
