When will you do the requirement analysis
Requirement analysis is done by a business analyst. Allthat a tester does is look at the requirements and writetest cases. Incase he/she finds the requirement to beillogical, he/she can always bring it to the test leadsnotice if not PM's notice.
What is Usability testing, pls explain with example.
It ia a type of testing in which one will perform testing onthe application in order to check whether it is User friendlyor not
This is the question related to Traceability Matrix. Say we have 10requirements for a project. If one of the testing team member missesthe 9th requirement. Then how can we justify the Traceability Matrixand what is the further action to be taken
The RTM lists all the requirements in the SRS by giving therequirement ids. The tester refers the SRS to write thetest cases and aging maps the test cases to SRS by givingthe test case ids in RTM against the requirement id. So ifany requirement is missed by Tester then he will miss thetest cases for that requirement. But when he will go toupdate the RTM for test cases, he will not find test caseids for that missing requirement. Hence the RTM helps outto find any missing requirement and ensures the testcoverage by mapping test case id with the requirement ID
 What is Pilot testing ?
A test of a computer system under operating conditions andin the environment for which the system was designed.
What are the fields of Tracebility Matrix?
Sl_N0SRS_NORequirement DescriptionCoverage statusTestCaseIDCommentOr1)requirement id2)Test case id3)Test case description4)Defect staus5)Version number
If there are Requirements document, we can use traceability matrix tofind the test coverage. How to get the test coverage if there are norequirements?
When there are no availability requirements document weshould follow the below process to prepare test coverage.Based on the project domain and knowledge on the project weshould prepare the test scenarios from them test cases. And then based on the available test cases we can preparethe traceability matrix to find the test coverage.
 What is testing process?
The processs of verifying and validating the coding of aparticular application either by manual or automatedprocess is called as testing process. There exists certainmethods to test an application.
What is the difference between V model and W model?
in v model both V&V takes place and can roll back any timeand it is used usually for bigger projects were as inwaterfall model you can not roll back i.e when ur in onephase you should complete i.e, requirementstudy, designing, codeing, testing then go for next step r ifany changes thr can be made and procedure is followed forthe change requirement request there coms the configurationmgt, since the designing starts once the Doc is base linedi.e after doc is being freezed
Re: How does one do Regression Testing for Manual Testing projects?
Genernally when we are doing Manual Testing - Regressiontesting can be done in two different scenarios.1) When tester intially find the defects and sent it todevelopers for fixing the issue .Once the issues get fixedwhatever the testing done by tester is regression testingmeans he will make sure that fixed defects does not effectthe application.2)When requirements changing dynamically means ex- you havedone testing for application A successfully and suppose forsame application when new features or functionality areadded and tester will test the application to find out theimpact it does the application with new requirements - thistesting also termed as regression testing.
 What is Boundary value analysis?
Boundary value analysis is an technique used in black boxtesting for selection of test data's for valid and invalidvalues it is divided as upper boundary lower boundary and onboundary ex:take a password field wch accepts 5 digits so do+/- 5 we get diff BV for upper boundary & lower boundary
