instrumentalist
should know

It is not the sound that you make
that counts, it is the sound of your life.

1. Work hard on humility.
2. A lead worshiper must arrive
prepared to rehearsal and
with a plan.
3. Be sure you understand the
service goals and sermon
outlines. Thought, rhyme and
reason to it. It must have a
theme.
4. Evaluate each other on how
you can each improve every
week.
5. Work on intro’s altro’s and
transitions. Watch
instructional videos on our
website

6. Encourage people to practice

before practice.
7. Take notes. Help you practice
in midweek.
8. Pray. Make a commitment
within the team “ We will not
do anything together until we
pray first.”

9. Develop mutual
accountability.

10. Replace yourself. Have a

shadow band. Teach those
younger one who are
committed to learn.

The sound level of the band
and worship must not be

Co ncert
LEVEL
but worship level
so that the
congregation will
have a vital sense of
participation
as they can
hear themselves worship
in song and not being
drowned out by the
worship team.
