National Dialogue on Race
PEOPLE OF COLOR CAMPAIGN
This year I will set forth an effort to help facilitate, educate and help everyonenavigate through a national dialogue on race and race relations. Race can be adifficult or uncomfortable subject for people to address sincerely, but that is my aim. There will be those who will retreat into the comforts of familiarity on thesubject and may act out in various ways, but the goal is gaining better practice of communicating, consideration and comprehension of each other and ourexperiences.Essentially what we see referenced in the image above is what our nationaldialogue on race has become. I’m not here to place blame on any one group, because it doesn’t address the issue, but perpetuates the problem. I’m here to try once again to nurture a sincere conversation on race. You must understand raceand racism well enough to know if you or someone else is a racist.
