Your project should include:

1. RESEARCH– You should research your city and find out what is there. In your project the
following criteria should be given:
• Reasons that people should travel there.
• Any interesting history on the city.
• Different attractions one might see if they went there.
Your presentation should be colorful and attractive to the eye. A map and pictures would also be
beneficial.

2. BIBLIOGRAPHY – Please cite the websites that you use for your research. You should have
at least three sources. (SEE RESEARCH PAGE FOR HELP!)

3. PRESENTATION: Everyone is going to be asked to present their project. In this presentation

you should be prepared to explain your project. Also be prepared to answer any questions from
your audience. Remember the purpose of this exercise is to get to be an expert on the city.

To present your project you have a choice to use one of the following programs:
1) Microsoft Photostory
2) Microsoft Power Point
3) Microsoft Publisher

You will be given two 45 minute class periods to do in class research on your project. You will then be
given 3 additional 45 minutes class sessions to complete your project. If you need additional time
please see Mrs. DeBlock a few days BEFORE the project is due.
