All operations will be reported directly/indirectly to the Project Administrator of the NLNG Plus Project Joint Venture through Fujian Tu Consultant (China)LTD. (Contractor) and China National Petroleum Plc. All personnel shall be responsible to the Joint Venture (CLNG Plus).
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: The Construction and operation of a new liquified natural gas plant on Foshan Island in South Eastern China.
JOB TITLE: UXO QC/Safety Officer,
SUMMARY OF MAJOR DUTIES:
Provide Safety and QC oversight of field activities involving unexploded ordnance (UXO), materials presenting potential explosive hazard (MPPEH), low level radioactive wastes (LLRW) and hazardous wastes identification for Air National Guard work at (5) different ranges in (4) different provinces in China. Provide QC oversight of UXO & MPPEH identification, segregations and handling operations, including certification or range residue as free of ammunition, explosives and other dangerous articles. Prepare daily project QC reports, maintain records of UXO/MPPEH items recovered and coordinate disposal of UXO/MPPEH items with appropriate base EOD officials. Ensure compliance with all site safety and health requirements. Maintain all site safety related records. Supervise UXO Technicians during collection and storage of low level radioactive and hazardous wastes. Coordinate disposal of waste items with appropriate base environmental officials and transport of recyclable metals with local vendors. Maintain chain of custody and load logs for all materials shipped off the installation.
SALARY: US$29,000.00, Monthly, can be transferred to any Bank or Country of your choice and all transfers must be made in conformity with the existing tax situation in China.
CONTRACT DURATION: 48 months (Liable for upward review depending on your commitment and expertise)
DURATION OF WORK PERIODS:
Mondays through Fridays, Time: 8.00am to 4.00pm with break period between 12.00noon to 2.00pm.
TELEPHONIC INTERVIEW:
On confirmation of the endorsement of your Contract engagement documents, which will be deliver to you in due time, you will be contacted for a telephonic interview. However all selected expatriate(s) should ensure they undertake immunization/shots and have in their possession original Copies of education/academic Certificate, Awards from previous Jobs/Experiences and any other information deemed necessary.
Interview will be designed to facilitate a cordial relationship between expatriates and firm as well as the organisational structure with respect to the project scope. Interviews are also designed to ascertain claims on working experiences and academic/educational qualifications, and should any claim be found wanting the affected expatriate would be deported and such done in conformity with the legal provision.
