UNICEF sees digital communication and marketing as critical to the future success of itsprivate sector fundraising. Over the next three years the organization is looking to make atransformational change in its use of internet and mobile platforms for income generationand supporter engagement. We are currently recruiting a Global Digital Marketing Specialistwho will play a critical role in this important step-change to digitize UNICEF’s fundraising.The Digital Marketing Specialist will work within the Global Digital team, based in Geneva, tohelp support UNICEF National offices and drive UNICEF’s global digital strategy for privatesector engagement. The successful candidate for this position should be a highly motivatedperson with hands-on experience in digital marketing/fundraising who wants to make a realand lasting difference in the lives of children.The Digital Marketing Specialists will report to the Global Head of Digital Fundraising, andwill collaborate deeply with other UNICEF Headquarter teams and UNICEF NationalCommittees and Country Offices. They will support and drive the following activities:
Develop, execute and evaluate global digital fundraising campaigns and products.These campaigns and products will be designed to support the development of digitalfundraising activity in National Committees and Country Offices.
Manage a select number of agencies and suppliers to deliver results that can berolled out in packages to UNICEF markets.
Lead the development of UNICEF’s international online donors through thesupportunicef.org platform and drive global income through this website.
Ensure that best practices and market insight are effectively shared across theorganization to empower digital fundraising success.
Boost digital capacity within the organization through the training of staff,development of digital toolkits and best practice manuals.
Follow closely developments in the digital arena and advocate for innovative basedmodels of fundraising and supporter engagement within the organization by sharingbest practices and new thinking in the area.
