UNICEF sees digital communication and marketing as critical to the future success of itsprivate sector fundraising. Over the next three years the organization is looking to make atransformational change in its use of internet and mobile platforms for income generationand supporter engagement. We are currently recruiting two Global Digital FundraisingSpecialists who will play a critical role in this important step-change to digitize UNICEF’sfundraising.The Digital Fundraising Specialists will work within the Global Digital team, based in Geneva,to help support UNICEF National offices and drive UNICEF’s global digital strategy for private sector engagement. Successful candidates for these positions should be highlymotivated people with solid experience in digital media and fundraising who want to make areal and lasting difference in the lives of children.The Digital Fundraising Specialists will report to the Global Head of Digital Fundraising, andwill collaborate deeply with other UNICEF Headquarter teams and UNICEF NationalCommittees and Country Offices. They will support and drive the following activities:
Provide cutting edge support and guidance globally to UNICEF National Committeesand Country Offices in their development of digital strategies, campaigns, productsand activities.
Ensure that best practices related to digital strategy development, digital marketingand web and mobile based tools are effectively shared across the organization.
Boost digital capacity within UNICEF through the training of staff, development of digital toolkits and best practice manuals.
Work closely with Relationship Teams and the Chief of Strategy and Investment tostrategically input into National Committee strategic plans and investment allocationfor digital activities.
Follow closely developments in the digital arena and advocate for innovative basedmodels of fundraising and supporter engagement within the organization by sharingbest practices and new thinking in the area.
