1. Why awaken?
Awakening is a term I give to telling a different story about yourself. We all have our history, but we don
ʼ
t need to be it any longer. Say you were the script writer of afilm, and your life was to be seen on a big screen, wouldn
ʼ
t you actually give the actor/actress away out? That
ʼ
s all it takes, opening your eyes, waking up and making a few choices about howyou want the next bit to be.Note: If you read any further, please be aware that you too might find that yourstory changes in some way for the better. In my own story, I wasn
ʼ
t getting the results I wanted, and it seemed to be a pretty good solution towake up and find my own voice. To be honest, at the time I wasn
ʼ
t aware that I was awakening, it was more sorting out myproblems.
It wasn
ʼ
t a
ʻ
one minute you
ʼ
re asleep, next you
ʼ
re awake
ʼ
process for me.

You might find that some of these things are present in your life. Looking back, I was a mess, Iwas fit to internally combust from:
Fear
Stress
AnxietyHow many different roles do you have, and do any or none of them fit you? I found that they wereall parts of me and I was torn in so many directions.Symptoms to watch out for:
Miserable
Moody
Didn
ʼ
t like myself
I complained about things
I judged people
I got angry/frustrated/irritated easily
