Priest:Dearly beloved, we welcome with great affection and devotion the relics oSt John Bosco. Our celebration, gives glory to God in the first place, the sourceof all holiness. Let us prepare our hearts to understand the true meaning of thiscelebration. In his lifetime, St. John Bosco always was first to approach, first togive a kind word, first to visit. We continue to feel his care and welcome hisvisit to our place.Let us pray.Lord God, in your providence you gave us Saint John Bosco, father andteacher of the young, who worked with tireless zeal, under the guidance of theVirgin Mary, for the good of the Church; arouse in us the same apostoliccharity, which urges us to seek the salvation of our brothers to serve you, our one and only good, through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son who is God, andwho lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit forever and ever.R. Amen.

St. John Bosco, our loving Father,Now we lift to thee our voices. As we gather around thine altar,Far and wide the world rejoices.St. John Bosco, we're thy dearest;Whose protection are imploring. For in heaven thou remainest,An apostle 'mid thee adoring.// John Bosco, thy children on many a shore;Shall love and revere thee till time be nomore.// (2X)
