Activity Information
FELONIOUS ASSAULT 11-1498

On 01/10/2011, Deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the 1000 block of Share Avenue (West of
Harris Road) for a shots fired complaint. The Deputies arrived and there was no one around. The Deputies viewed
the video system from the store and discovered a black four door vehicle was backed into a parking space in the
parking lot when four subjects exited the vehicle. The four subjects produced handguns and started shooting at an
unknown white vehicle in the parking lot. The white vehicle exited the parking lot. Unknown if anyone was hit by
the gunfire. No victims or witnesses have come forward in this incident. The time of occurrence was at 6:50 PM on
01/10/2011. There is no suspect information. The video footage is available, upon request, from Director Jackson.

HOME INVASION 11-1571 2 ARRESTS MADE

On 01/11/2011, Deputies assigned to Lodi Township responded to the 7000 block of Lindemann Road (West of
Alber Road) for a home invasion in progress. The Deputies arrived and found the homeowner holding the suspect, a
forty-eight year-old male Saline resident, down on the side deck. The suspect was immediately arrested and
information was attained that there was suspect vehicle, that was occupied by a female subject, in the immediate
area. Responding Deputies stopped the suspect vehicle in the area of Diuble Road and Pleasant Lake Road and
determined the female driver, a forty-two year-old female Saline resident and wife to the male suspect, was
involved in the incident and was taken into custody .

The Deputies discovered that two homeowners, a male and female, were inside the residence when they heard a
noise in the kitchen area. The female resident went to investigate and saw the suspect in the kitchen. The suspect,
who had a hammer in his hand, approached the victim and raised the hammer. The female homeowner fell back but
was not struck. The suspect attempted to flee out the side door and the male homeowner grabbed the suspect and
they fell onto the deck. The female homeowner then called 911 and the male homeowner struggled with the suspect
and held him down until the Deputies arrived.

The time of occurrence was at 12:11 PM on 01/11/2011.

Both the male and female suspect were transported to the County Jail. The case will be turned over to the
Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office for review.

BURGLARY 11-1618

On 01/11/2011, Deputies assigned to Superior Township responded to the 8000 block of MacArthur Boulevard
(Southwest of Harris Road) for a burglary complaint. The Deputies discovered the suspect(s) shattered a rear
window to gain entry. The time of occurrence is unknown. A television set was taken. There is no suspect
information.

Arrest Information
11-1673
On 01/11/2011, Deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to Hollis Avenue and Forest Avenue for a
disorderly person complaint. The Deputies contacted a subject and determined he was wanted on an outstanding
warrant. The subject was arrested without incident and transported to the County Jail.
