TheSYNC™ Auditexamines the structural andfunctional integration of brand social presence andsocial signal.
Structural integration
is indicated by the degree towhich outgoing communication is distributed acrossexisting network channels in a consistent,synchronized manner. It is also indicated by theextent to which overlapping access points andidentity bridges have been set up on all presencechannels.
Functional Integration
of brand social presence isindicated by the ease with which your targetaudience can both locate and navigate existinginformation channels.
Social Presence
is comprised of Content Channelsand Community Channels. The former is designed toaggregate and disseminate relevant corporateinformation. Community Channels are set apartspecifically to provide outreach, support anddistribution of brand message.
Social Signal
is comprised of brand content andconversations online that drive the potential for userinteraction. We analyze what online tactics the brandis using to initiate dialogue that will move therecipients into their circle of influence.TheSYNC™ Signal Modelis used to evaluateexisting brand Social Signal. As a reference itdescribes what we look for during the audit in termsof brand network connectivity. First we analyzenetwork components, i.e. presence, community,content and collaboration.From there we move outward to examine brandsignal propagation paths, i.e. attention, relevance,context and advocacy to see how well existing signalstrategy is leveraging these paths with their onlineactivities.During the Audit we also perform an evaluation of thebrand's target audience cloud.
