Page 1 of 2Regular Session, 2009HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 90BY REPRESENTATIVE TUCKERA RESOLUTIONTo commend Joseph "Joe" Lore of Terrytown for his outstanding accomplishments.WHEREAS, it is appropriate to commend and recognize Joseph "Joe" Lore, one of Louisiana's finest citizens; andWHEREAS, Mr. Lore served with honor as a New Orleans Police Departmentpatrolman in the fourth district in Algiers and retired after thirty-two years of dedicatedservice; andWHEREAS, on September 4, 1996, Mr. Lore became the bailiff in Division J of the24th Judicial District Court, and he continued as bailiff for Judge Sheldon Fernandez whenhe took office; andWHEREAS, on October 23, 2000, Mr. Lore became bailiff for Judge SteveWindhorst in Division J, and he served with great distinction until retiring on February 21,2009; andWHEREAS, the success of the state of Louisiana, the strength of our communities,and the overall vitality of American society depend, in great measure, upon the talents anddedication of people like Joe Lore; andWHEREAS, Joe Lore is an inspiration to his fellow citizens for the vitalcontributions made in his career of extraordinarily effective public service, and he merits thehighest commendation and sincere congratulations for the tremendous pride he brings to hisfamily and friends, to Jefferson Parish, and to the state of Louisiana.THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of theLegislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Joseph "Joe" Lore of Terrytown, doeshereby recognize and record for posterity his outstanding accomplishments in a long anddistinguished career, and does hereby extend to him best wishes for continued success andhappiness in all of his future endeavors.
