Commends Paul Stephens for his accomplishments in DeSotoParish.A RESOLUTION1To commend Paul Stephens for his accomplishments and dedication to the DeSoto Parish2community.3WHEREAS, Paul Stephens faithfully served as the chef at the DeSoto Regional4Hospital in Mansfield, and has recently accepted a new position outside of Louisiana; and5WHEREAS, Mr. Stephens brought the dining experience at Café Bon Chasse, the6hospital dining room, to new heights with his culinary creations; and7WHEREAS, he catered numerous events for civic organizations throughout DeSoto8Parish; and9WHEREAS, Mr. Stephens mentored the culinary arts classes at Mansfield High10School, accompanying them to Baton Rouge for state-wide competitions; and11WHEREAS, he assisted Mansfield Elementary School students in learning healthy12eating habits by catering meals for the school students and instructing them in healthy eating13and lifestyles; and14WHEREAS, he supported various festivals in the parish by providing food booths15and manning booths to distribute information regarding the medical facility; and16WHEREAS, Mr. Stephens served as a volunteer to assist residents in south Louisiana17following devastating hurricanes; and18
