T.A., I loved the opening three lines, they are magical...The power of flowers, the connection between poppies and power and euphoria; then, you lost me. And the use of "*******" as an intensifier is vague,or glib...I respect you; you're a gifted writer, and here, in this poem, I believe you got lazy after an initial inspiration...Feel free to disagree.
