Items Needed:1. Construction paper, or posterboard, or card board2. Glue3. Popsicle sticks or clean sticks from outdoors4. Items for decorating the stick puppetsExamples - glitter, buttons, pieces of fabric, paint,crayons.Instructions:1. Use the patterns provided or create your own. Cut out theshapes from construction paper, poster board, or cardboard.Regular paper won't stay up properly.2. Decorate the shapes.3. Glue shapes onto popsicle sticks or clean sticks from outdoors.4. Allow to completely dry before using.To Use:1. Both children and parents can create small stories aboutthe rising sun, the coming holiday, or what happens whenwe go to sleep. For young children, it is often best for theparents to sit back and ask the child/ren to tell them astory about why the moon is in the sky. You'll be surprisedby your children's imagination.Put on a little play for your child/ren, too.2. For set up, just place a cloth over a table, coffee tableswork best, or over a crate.
