In Washington,DC and New York City, Rex collaborated with localvolunteers and businesses to produce Black Tie-DyeBall events and identify beneficiaries in those regions.During the last few months of the year, images fromHurricane Katrina’s destruction reminded us all of theuniversal importance of community, compassion andrespect for people beyond our immediate circles. Tak-ing concerts “on the road” enables Rex to expand itsreach while staying true to its commitment to foster-ing service at the local level.
