Frontal rainfall : Is the result from the meeting of a warm mass of air and
a cold mass of air. The boundary between the two air masses are called
front.

• As warm air is lighter than cold air , it’s forced to raise over the cold.

Convectional rainfall : Is caused by the sun

heating the ground , turn , warm the air. As the
warms airs is forced to raise in strong upward
convection currents .The water on the ground
will evaporate will also rise. As the warm air
rises, it cools and often gives thunderstorms.
