This brought back memories! I have also had this venom flowing through my veins so I can relate to your poem. Many would argue that nothing is worse than unrequited love. "I hate to love and love to hate", indeed. : ^ (

I like the substance more than the form of this poem, some of your word choices seem a little heavy handed. I like "when I look at myself through your eyes" but I would like that picture, what are you like exactly through the other's eyes? Sweer poison of love, nice, too true. Cheers. GV

poison or antidote the venom is life changing and we are saved or lost - "When I look at myself through your eyes, / I see myself as I never thought I could be" - very good, aman
