Description
Apparently, country star John Michael Montgomery is very influential in this one-horse town that will host the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games. Attendees better beware.
In the case presented here, now ex-cop and whistle blower Joshua Cromer, was trying to do the right thing when he arrested a famous country singer, John Michael Montgomery.
Officer Cromer’s superiors were doing the wrong things by what appears to be an effort to give special treatment to a famous person.
The Division of Police was trying to coerce Mr. Cromer to do the wrong thing. Officer Cromer is the kind of gutsy whistle blower we need in public office.
Most other public servants are too worried about their pensions, their sick private lives, their vacations, and accumulating personal wealth to stand up for what is right. Cromer is the kind of cop I have prayed would stand up for what is right, and he did!
Pray with me that the civil jury will vindicate this model citizen and Good Cop (who was wrongfully villified by the Lexington media and grossly mistreated by his fellow officers) by returning a verdict that will fairly compensate him for the loss of his job, career opportunities, etc.
Hillbilly Lexington Kentucky is a 'good ole boy' boss-town that makes the corrupt murdering Sheriff in the song, "When the Lights Went Out in Georgia," look like nursery play.
Politics decides who gets prosecuted on crimes ranging from the noise ordinance to traffic misdemeanors (like DUI) all the way up to felonies like rape, murder, and sedition.
For example, the city tickets easy-going taxpayers for smoking in public places, created a special force to cite home-owners to coerce them to trim tree lines so their cronies in the public utilities business would not have to pay to have it done, created a special program to pay a private company (Lex Park) to ticket expired parking meters, and routinely lets illegal Hispanics from Mexico slip through traffic enforcement and felony violations of immigration laws.
While the Police Division is busy covering up evidence / lying / helping cronies, the Latin Kings murderous gang has been busy infecting the local school system. One student at Henry Clay High was arrested in a 2007 murder already.
Notorious illegal migrant serial killer, Rafael Resendez Menendez, began his murderous rampage in Lexington by killing UK student Christopher Maer and raping his girlfriend on the Gardenside railroad tracks in August 1997, not two miles from the shopping center where a NAFTA Mexican bus picks up and drops off passengers going to and from Mexico.
In another example, in one case of alleged rape charged against a University of Kentucky basketball player, callers to a talk show accused then Police Chief Beatty of pre-warning then basketball coach Tubby Smith that a search warrant was about to be executed -- all so UK could sanitize the area to be searched according to the political comment of the day. And when Beatty retired several years later, the former Chief was handed custom-made cushy Executive Security job at the University with a big perky salary that would make any taxpayer salivate.
In another example of corruption, Lexington Police obstructed the criminal prosecution of serial child molester Ron Berry whose brother was the Assistant Chief of Police. A federal lawsuit is still pending after the city paid out almost $3 million to settle only several of the molestation cases. And a federal appellate panel returned a scathing Opinion against the way Judge Hood mistreated attorneys for plaintiffs in that case.
The good ole boy system is defined as one in which the cronies in the oligarchy (an elite group acting as defacto dictators) circle the wagons and obstruct all relief to their victims who are, of course, paying taxes to the corrupt oligarchy. And the oligarchy figures out more devious ways to lie, cheat, and loot the public treasury, siphoning it into the pockets of their friends doing bu
