Note: Ignore the numbers at the end of each scene.

They were used as markers to help time a full 60

minute episode w/comms. Also, this was written before the news that flashbacks and forwards won't be
used anymore. Somehow, I doubt they won't be used anymore, but in my future episodes I plan on doing
something a little different as well. I have written 4 so far and i don't want to change the content. I have a
total of 17. I hope you enjoy and please leave comments!

"Genesis"

1) EXT. BEACH CAMP. IT IS VERY FOGGY AND COLD. SMALL AMOUNTS OF PRECIPITATION/
SNOW CAN BE SEEN. DAY.

The castaways that were on the beach when the island moved are all huddled around a
campfire. A few hours must have passed since the movement of the island. They are
obviously very cold and wrapped up in blankets and whatever they can find.

Rose:

What the hell is going on?! I still don't understand what is going on...

Bernard:

The light... whatever that was, it must have effected the weather somehow. I really don't
know how. When the fog lifts we maybe able to see something.

Rose:

Whatever happened, this is bad. This is really bad.

Charlotte:

I knew this island was different, but I had no idea...

Juliet is apparently very drunk and the bottle of rum sits beside her.

Juliet:

I know Dharm.. Dharma had intentions for projects with meteorology.

 Rose:

How much did she have to drink Sawyer?

Sawyer:

She pretty much kicked the bottle before I swam to the beach.

Bernard:

Do you think the helicopter made it?

Sawyer:

I think Jack had the situation under control.

Bernard:

But, do you think they will come back for us?

Sawyer:

I don't... I don't...

Locke suddenly appears behind Sawyer.

Locke:

They don't know where we are.

Sawyer:

Well, if it ain't jolly old Saint Nick...

Sawyer then notices the rest of the Others behind Locke a little ways down the beach.

Sawyer:

...and his elves. What the hell is goin' on Locke?

Locke:

Well, James, I moved the island.

Sawyer:

You moved the island.

Locke:

I moved the island.

 Bernard:

What do you mean... moved the island?

Locke:

I mean, the island is no longer where it used to be.

Sawyer:

(annoyed) How in the... how do you move an island?

Charlotte:

So, they won't know where to look for us?

Locke:

I'm afraid not.

Rose:

Why did you...move the island... here? It is freezing!

Locke:

I didn't know where the island would be moved to. It just... picked here.

Miles:

And where is 'here' big guy?

Locke:

I have no idea.

Sawyer:

You know, Houdini, for a guy who usually has all the answers, you seem pretty left out of
the loop. Where's Hermey? He'll know what is going on.

Locke:

He's gone.

Juliet:

Ben's dead?!

Miles:

No.

Locke gives Miles an uneasy look.

 Locke:

He left the island. For good.

Juliet:

Thanks to the Lord, God! (screams drunkly).

Locke:

What's up with her?

Sawyer:

She thought it was the New Year's Eve when you set off your little light show and celebrated
too hard. How did you guys know to find us here?

Locke:

We went back to the beach camp and trailed you all the way up here. Where you going?

Bernard:

I remember a station on the North side of the island that would make good shelter.

Locke just looks at Bernard.

Rose:

Well, what were we supposed to do?

Sawyer:

And why are your friends here?

Locke:

We all need to stick together now. With Ben gone, we can trust each other. And as for what
to do... we find a shelter. Get everyone together, I want to get somewhere warm before
night falls.

The castaways all look really hesitant, but decide to listen to Locke. They all get up
(Vincent too) and start moving towards the Others, all except for Becky, a random survivor
of 815.

Rose:

Becky, come on sweaty, we are going to go somewhere warm now.

Becky doesn't move. Rose walks towards her.

Rose:
 Becky, come on, we have to move.

Becky still doesn't respond. Rose goes over to Becky and pulls the cover off of her. As
she does this, Becky falls over stiff as a board. She is dead. Rose looks at the rest of the
castaways in shock. The camera pans back down onto Becky's frozen glassed over face and:

--Commercial Break--

2) EXT. THE JUNGLE. COLD AND FOGGY STILL. DAY.

Locke and the group are walking through the jungle to get to warmth. The castaways
are in front with the Others all trailing the group. Cindy is in the front of all the others with
the children. Bernard notices Cindy and the kids and approaches them.

Bernard:

Cindy! Emma, Zach! You are alive! What did they do to you?

During Cindy's conversation with Bernard she seems distant and not herself. She also
seems as if she doesn't believe a word that she, herself, is saying.

Cindy:

They didn't do anything to us. They kept us safe.

Bernard:

Safe? These people are not safe.

Cindy:

They are good people Bernard.

Bernard:

They had Anna Lucia and Libby killed!

Cindy:

Michael did that, not them.

Bernard gives Cindy a strange look and then looks down at the children. He notices they
seem as if they aren't even paying attention, robot like. He turns and walks a little quicker
towards Rose.

Rose:

So, this is Cindy. She seems like one of them.

 Bernard:

She wasn't. She was normal before.

Sawyer pushes Locke forward a little bit to talk to him.

Sawyer:

Really, why are these guys with us?

Locke:

(still walking) James, with Ben gone, the island needs someone to guide the people. I am
the leader now.

Sawyer:

I don't trust them. To be honest with you, I don't trust you too much either...

Locke:

You can let your guards down now James. I won't let anything bad happen to you anymore.

Sawyer:

What, you mean like Ice-pop Becky back there?....

Locke stops for a second and shoots Sawyer a dirty look. Sawyer takes note and lays off.

Sawyer:

So, some of those guys back there who shot me full of electricity back on Island #2, I am
supposed to be buddies with them now?

Locke:

It is up to you James, but I would suggest letting bygones be bygones. They are your only
options for friends now, for survival.

Charlotte stops and decides that this has gone on long enough.

Charlotte:

We have been walking for hours now. Where are we going?

Rose:

Yeah Locke, we are tired and cold.

Locke:

We are making way towards the Temple. It is a safe place.

Richard jumps in abruptly.

 Richard:

No, we aren't. The temple doesn't provide the needed shelter.

Locke:

Then where would you suggest?

Richard:

Why not go back to the Barracks?

Locke:

The Barracks aren't completely in tact anymore.

Richard:

It is our only option.

Miles does his 'stop and listen' routine. He then looks up with wisdom.

Miles:

There are tunnels.

Locke:

Tunnels? (he directs this towards Richard)

Richard:

I have no idea what he is talking about.

Richard shoots a wtf look towards Miles. Charlotte takes Miles aside. Cindy is close-by
and listens in.

Charlotte:

What do you mean tunnels?

Miles:

Tunnels. There are tunnels below us I think.

Charlotte:

What do you mean tunnels?

Miles:

Well, Ms. Lewis... a tunnel is an underground passage-way that one travels through to get
to a...
 Charlotte:

All right smart-ass. I know what a tunnel is.

Over with the rest of the group, Bernard chimes in.

Bernard:

Like I told you before.....when we were hiding from... those guys (points at the others)...
we stayed in an abandoned Dharma station not far from here. I think it was called The
Arrow. It's big enough for all of us.

Locke:

Well, that sounds like a plan then. What was in this station.

Bernard:

A glass eye and some bibles. Other than that, it was empty.

Locke remembers Eko telling him about the station and shows this through a look he
gives.

Locke:

I would like to check this station out...

Cindy goes up to Charlotte and Miles in a peevish manner and whispers:

Cindy:

I know of these tunnels. There is an opening to them right over there. I can take you, they
will be warmer.

Charlotte:

Great, let me get the others.

Cindy:

No! You can't let Richard know. He won't want us to use them.

Miles:

Then we go... hey, its warmer than this. Do you want to end up like Betsy?

Charlotte:

It was Becky. Can you give us a moment please?

Cindy backs off for a minute.

Charlotte:
 This will give us a chance to check out more of the island. Should we?

Miles:

I was sold when she said it was warmer.

Charlotte:

Fine, we will trail behind and slip off unnoticed.

Locke stands up in front of the group.

Locke:

Ok everyone! Listen up! Bernard here says that there is a Dharma station not far from here.
A couple more hours. You all need to hang in there and keep on moving. It is going to get a
lot colder once the heat from the island rises into the air. We need to hurry before nightfall.

Juliet rises from her drunkenness.

Juliet:

(to herself) The heat from the island... oh crap. This isn't good.

They begin walking again. This time Charlotte, Miles and Cindy are in the back of the
group. Cindy turns to Charlotte and talks.

Cindy:

So, your last name is Lewis eh?

Charlotte:

Yes. How did you know?

Cindy:

I overheard you talking to your friend.

Charlotte:

Does my name mean something to you?

Cindy:

Oh... um, hey, we should go now before we get too far from the vents.

Miles:

Vents? You called them vents...

Cindy:
 That is what the Others call them. Come on...

Cindy, Miles, and Charlotte break away from the group and Cindy leads them to the
place where she was taken by the Others. They all stop and Charlotte look at Cindy oddly.

Charlotte:

Why would you help us and break away from your people?

Cindy:

They aren't my people. I was on the plane, but they took me. They took me right here using
these vents.

Cindy removes some brush from the vent that she was taken in. As she does this she
begins to flash.

(6:30)

3) ---FLASH--- EXT. JUNGLE WHEN CINDY WAS TAKEN BY THE OTHERS. DAY. (Day 48)

We see Cindy (footage from "The Other 48 Days") helping the group get
Sawyer's stretcher up over the rocks. We then see see (new footage) Cindy on the bottom
of the rocks. She looks down and notices the teddy bear that Zach was carrying and she
bends down to pick it up. As she does she she notices a break in the rocks so she looks in.
She sees the children in the vents. As she is about to say something an Other, Ivan, comes
up behind her and knocks her out with a cloth soaked in knock out gas. There is a series of
drugged memories of her being dragged through the vents with whispers around her and
people talking, but she can't quite make them out. The Other's have torches as they take
her through the tunnels. We then begin to clearly hear and see a face looking down over
her. It is Harper Stanhope.

Harper:

Be very careful. How much of that stuff did you give her? She better not slip into a coma.

Ivan:

Harper, She will be fine.

Harper:

You better be sure. We need her to help with the children. If she doesn't come out of this
we won't know where she came from.

Ivan:

I told you, she will be fine. Ben wants to see her as soon as possible, so we have to hurry!

Harper:

She was on the list so we have to be careful, I don't care if it takes us an extra 20 minutes.
 Cindy begins to lose consciousness again. When she wakes up she strapped to a chair in
an unknown location. Ben is there sitting in a chair across from her.

Ben:

Welcome back Cindy.

Cindy:

What do you mean, welcome back?

Ben:

What did they do to you Cindy? Goodwin says that you don't seem yourself.

Cindy:

I have no idea what you are talking about.

Ben:

I hate to have to do this, but I have to undo what has been done.

4) ---FLASH CONT--- INT. EMPTY ROOM. NIGHT.

Ben gets up from his chair and goes up to Cindy and puts the glasses on her, the same
glasses that we saw Karl wearing when he was being brainwashed. Ben then goes behind
Cindy and turns on the projector revealing a slightly different film than we saw from Karl's
experience. Ben walks out of the room and closes the door so we can see the Room 23 on
the door. Ben then says to Harper:

Ben:

Keep a close eye on her. If she starts to lose it, get her out of there. We need to find out
where she has been and who she has been talking to.

Harper:

Do you think she completed her mission?

Ben:

Well Harper, I think it is obvious that she did, but something is off about her. Keep watch,
update me.

Cut back to Cindy in room 23 where the film is playing. This film depicts several shots of
people's mouths moving. They are saying something, but it is unclear of what. We again
hear the voice of Bea Klugh saying, this time not in reverse,: "Only fools are enslaved by
time and space." We then see the words "Divest Your Ordinary Nature And Find Your True
Nature." There are many pictures of patterns being reversed and dolls being turned upside
down with the focus being on their mouths and not their eyes as in Karl's video. The words,
"You Are A Disciple of Him As Was Rachel to Jacob." Focus on Cindy's face as she takes in
all this information. The words, "Jacob Loves You As He Loved God." There are more shots
of random objects such as currency and an airplane with words superimposing it saying,
"Nothing Ever Changes." Then many orchid flowers are shown as Bea Klugh says
prominently, "Time Is Relative, Space is Relative, You are Relative." Focus on Cindy's face
as her eyes begin to roll back into her head. Finally there is footage of an island
disappearing and reappearing repeatedly until finally the island has vanished and there is a
Dharma Logo of a new station revealed that has a # sign in the middle of it. We then see a
set of twins who move out of the way and it is revealed that there is a man on the film and
that man is in fact Christian Shepard being secretly filmed. Just as Christian comes onto the
screen Cindy's eyes get huge and cuts to commercial.

-COMMERCIAL BREAK-

5) EXT. COLD JUNGLE. FOGGY DUSK.

The shot begins on Harper and it is a camera trick for people to think that it is another
one of Cindy's flashbacks, but it isn't.

Harper:

Cindy's gone!

The group stops and looks around them. Rose notices that some of them are missing
too.

Rose:

So is Red and Miles.

Locke:

Did anyone see where they went?

Bernard:

I don't even know how you can see where you are going. The fog is so thick.

Locke:

I am sure they will turn up.

Richard:

I bet they went into the tunnels.

Locke:

I thought you said you didn't know about the tunnels.

Richard:
 I didn't want us going in them. They are dangerous. The vents are..

Locke:

Vents. Wait, do you mean the Cerberus Vents... the C.V. on the blast door map?

Richard:

That is what they called them, but really they are ancient magma vents from the island
volcano.

Locke:

Where do they go?

Richard:

I've never been down there. I don't think they are safe.

Rose:

(to Bernard) Because of the magma...

Richard:

Yeah, because of the magma... (obvious lie)

Locke:

Then we should go look for them.

Harper:

No, Cindy is familiar with the vents. They will be safe. We need to move on.

Juliet:

What are you Harper, the voice of reason now?

Juliet looks at her bottle of Rum and realizes it is gone. She chucks it.

Harper:

Well, Juliet, none of this would be happening if you would have stuck to the original plan.

Juliet:

And what is that Stanhope... kidnapping all their women and forcing pregnancy on them.
Real productive.

Harper:

Well, we wouldn't be freezing to death out here now would we?

 Juliet:

Why are you so hung up on Ben's pregnancy study? It wouldn't have helped your barren
ass.

Harper attacks Juliet and they fall to the ground and wrestle around. Harper lands a
bunch of good punches onto Juliet. Eventually Locke breaks up the fight and pulls Harper off
of Juliet. He helps Juliet up.

Locke:

Ladies, now is not the time for this. Really. Come on now.

Rose looks around.

Rose:

Sawyer is missing too.

Bernard:

I didn't notice.

Rose:

I was tipped off when I didn't hear any comments about a cat fight or jello wrestling.

Bernard:

Great, there are 5 of us now and about 20 of them.

Locke looks like he is really fed up and stands up in a booming voice. During this speech
there are many shots of the Other's and the survivors looking at eachother and standing
together.

Locke:

No, Bernard! There are about 25 of us now. We can't keep up with this rivalry. Both sides
here have done damage to each other equally as bad. Hell, us crash survivors have killed
more of them than they have killed of us at least triple-fold. And them... well, with Ben
gone they don't have their insane kidnapping missions and the capacity to experiment on us
anymore. I am the leader of both of our tribes and I, right now, at this point am merging
both of us into a singular union. Think of it as a genesis, a realization of our true selves,
together. We have a common mission right now and that is survival and a way to figure out
how to deal with wherever we have been moved. Now, as for Charlotte, Cindy, Miles and
Sawyer. We move on. We get rest and warm then we will come back out and look for them.
They chose to go off, we have to continue on. Bernard, how much further?

Bernard:

I um, I'm not sure...

Harper:
 We're here.

Harper points to the Arrow Door.

Locke:

Before we go in, Harper is it? I want you and Juliet to shake hands and leave this outside.

Juliet wipes some blood from her nose and Harper and her just look at each other.

Locke:

Do it!

The two of them shake hands reluctantly. The group moves towards the Arrow door.

6) INT. INSIDE THE VENTS. THEY LOOK PRIMITIVE WITH HIEROGLYPHICS ON THE WALLS.

The three of them made their way inside of the tunnels and are walking through.
Charlotte has a flashlight as Cindy has a torch. Charlotte keeps looking at the hieroglyphics
on the walls and stopping. Cindy is looking irritated.

Cindy:

Please, we need to continue on.

Miles:

Continue on to where exactly?

Cindy:

There is a place we can go to. I just want to make way through the vents quickly.

Charlotte:

These are hieroglyphics, but they aren't Egyptian. I've never seen anything quite like them
before. Do you know about these?

Cindy:

No, I have no idea what they are. I guess they have been there forever.

Charlotte:

Here, look at this one!

There is a picture depicting what appears to be a monster-like creature with three heads
chasing men on the wall. Cindy gives the torch to Miles and takes Charlotte's face and
makes Charlotte look at her in her eyes as she takes the flashlight.
 Cindy:

We must not stop. We have to keep moving.

Miles:

Does it have something to do with uh, the painting?

Cindy:

Don't be silly.... it is getting dark out and I want to get to the station before nightfall so we
can get firewood. We don't want to freeze do we?

Charlotte:

Ok, I can come back down tomorrow and check these out.

Cindy:

Sure....

They continue to walk. Charlotte looks back at Miles as if questioning Cindy's hurry.
Then looks back at Cindy in the lead.

Charlotte:

So, you say they took you through these tunnels then?

Cindy:

Yeah, when they kidnapped me from my group.

Charlotte:

So, why did they want you? What did you do when you were with them?

Cindy:

I was a babysitter. I took care of the children.

The camera focuses closely on Cindy's face and the flash sound comes up.

(1:50)

7) --FLASH-- EXT. OUTSIDE THE HYDRA STATION. DAY. (Day 50)

Outside of the Hydra station we see Ben standing there. Two Others bring Cindy outside
from the building she is being brainwashed in. The men take Cindy up to Ben and they let
her go when Ben nods at them.

Ben:

How are you feeling Cindy?

 Cindy looks very dazed but somewhat with it.

Cindy:

Tired.

Ben:

That's not what I meant. I meant, aren't you glad to be home?

Cindy:

Very. I just want to sleep.

Ben:

We know where he is Cindy. Gary Troupe, your boyfriend.

Cindy looks up immediately and gives full attention.

Cindy:

Is he ok?

Ben:

He is fine. He's at the beach camp with the survivors from the front section of the plane. I
will bring him to see you soon.

Cindy:

He was on our plane? He wasn't supposed to be on our plane! He is ok though?!

Ben:

But first you have to do me a favor. We have some children here who desperately want to
see you. They won't stop crying and they keep calling for their mommy... and you.

Cindy:

Zach and Emma? They are here? They are fine?

Ben:

We have been taking excellent care of them. They are perfectly healthy, but uncooperative.
That is where you come in. I need you to make them feel more ...at home. If you do this
and when you succeed, I will bring Gary to join us.

Cindy:

Ok, whatever you need. Just, please, I want to be with him.

Ben:
 Harper, bring the children.

Harper walks over with Zach and Emma. The kids run up to Cindy and give her a big hug.
Cindy embraces them and gives them a big hug and begins to cry.

Cindy:

I've missed you two so much! Are you all right?

Ben takes Harper's arm and they walk away from the reunion.

Ben:

So, you think she is back?

Harper:

She has been in there for 2 days under the intense treatment. Let her rest tonight. We will
see about her tomorrow.

Ben:

Well, the room is free now, put the little boy back in there.

Harper:

Ben, I don't know about that...

Ben:

It is safer for him to be in there... for us.

It looks as if Harper is walking over to get Zach, but she passes him up. She instead
walkies to Juliet:

Harper:

Juliet, Ben wants Walt in the room... be a dear and bring him won't you? (she says this with
much animosity)

8) ---END FLASH--- INT. VENTS. DUSK.

The three of them continue to walk and then a sound is heard. It is the sound of the
monster. Cindy gives a big eyed look towards Charlotte and Miles.

 -COMMERCIAL BREAK-

9) ---FLASH--- EXT. HYDRA STATION. DAY. (Day 74)

This is a continuation of the interaction that Cindy had with Jack while he was in the
cages. Once all the Others have left, a few moments later Cindy runs back to Jack in the
cage.

Jack:

What Cindy? What do you want? You want to poke me?! There was a sign here that said
"don't feed the animals, but.."

Cindy:

Jack, I'm sorry about earlier. They were around and I couldn't really speak with you.

Jack:

So then, tell me. What are they doing with you?

Cindy:

Well, for the most part, they are giving us a place to live and food to eat. They are also
educating us about the island.

Jack:

So what then, you are one of them now?

Cindy:

Jack, I've always been one of them....

It seems as if she catches herself and continues:

Cindy:

I just now realize that.

Jack:

They brainwashed you didn't they?

Cindy avoids the question.

Cindy:

How is Ana Lucia and the tail survivors?

Jack:

Eko and Bernard are the only ones who are alive.
 Cindy:

What happened to Ana and Libby?!

Jack:

Michael killed them to free Ben from us so that he could get his son back.

Cindy:

Oh my God. You mean Walt?

Jack:

Yeah....

Jack gives Cindy an uneasy look.

Cindy:

Tell me, how is Gary? Is he worried about me?

Jack:

Who?

Cindy:

Gary Troupe. He was in your section.

Jack:

I don't remember any Gary's. He must have died in the crash.

Cindy:

No, Ben said he was alive. He said that he is alive.

Cindy's eyes well up with tears and she seems like she is trying to reassure herself.

Jack:

Well, Cindy, Ben lies. Hurley did a census and there was no Gary accounted for.

Jack softens his tone because he realizes Cindy's pain.

Jack:

Who was he Cindy?

Cindy:

He is my fiance, boyfriend, he planned on proposing to me in LA. I found the ring. WAS, he

WAS going to propose to me.
 Cindy begins to lose it completely here and goes into hysterics. She then gets really
close to Jack in the cage and with extreme intensity says to him:

Cindy:

Do not trust a word they tell you Jack. They are all liars, liars!!!

Cindy storms off leaving Jack standing there like wtf.

10) --FLASH CON'T-- ISABEL'S OFFICE. INT.

Cindy picks the lock and opens the door. She walks into Isabel's office and looks around.
She goes to the filing cabinets and searches through the files until she comes across her
name. In the mean time she passes Mikhail Bakunin, Juliet Burke and a few Others. She
finds her file and opens it. She reads through it for a while and she gets a very determined
face on and closes her eyes. She reopens them with fire in them. She then takes out a
picture of Gary that reads "deceased" on the bottom of it. She closes her eyes and her
demeanor changes. Tears are coming out then followed by even more intense fire. She
keeps looking through and we see the name Christian Shephard a few times. She then
begins to go through the desk. She is rummaging around, but what is she looking for?
Finally, she stops and puts her head down. She opens her eyes and sees the bottom of a
map sticking out from under the desk mat. She pulls it out. It is a map of the island and she
glances around it. There are tunnels and stations depicted on the map, however, we only
see the Swan. Focus on her face as she searches and she finally comes across what she is
looking for and puts her finger on it. It is the Flame Station and under the symbol it reads
"Outside Communications." She puts the map back and walks out the door, but first she
turns and gives the room a once over. She notices she left the filing cabinet open. She then
goes back to close it, but not before she grabs another file. We don't see whose file it is
though. She turns and walks out.

11) --END FLASH-- INT. TUNNELS. DUSK

Cindy, Charlotte and Miles have continued on again and reach a point where the tunnel
splits off into two directions. One direction continues to be hieroglyphics and the other
seems to be man-made concrete. Cindy stops at this T and has a look of thought on her
face. She isn't sure which way to go.

Charlotte:

You don't know where you're going do you?

Miles:

Great.

Cindy:

I know, I just... need a minute. When I was taken through here I was pretty drugged up.

Miles:
 I say we get out of the ancient mummy passageway.

Cindy:

I am just unsure of which way to take you.

There is obvious desperation in her voice as if she is contemplating the fate of the two
with her.

Charlotte:

Which way does your heart tell you to go?

Cindy thinks for a second and she seems to show compassion. She points in the direction
of the man-made tunnel. They begin walking in that direction.

Cindy:

It shouldn't be much more time before we are safe.

Miles:

Time is relative.

Charlotte:

No, it is space that is relative.

Miles:

(gives a slight smirk) No, Charlotte, you are relative.

With that statement. Cindy gets lightheaded and she gets a look of anger on her face
(because that was all said on the brainwashing video).

Cindy:

No, you know what. It is the other direction. We have to turn around.

Miles:

Are you sure?

Cindy:

I've never been more sure of anything in my entire life.

Cindy turns around and they all begin to walk back to the ancient tunnels where Cindy is
in lead. Charlotte and Miles give each other a look like, "ok, whatever?"

12) INT. ARROW STATION. IT IS EXACTLY LIKE WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE WHEN WE LAST
SAW IT. NIGHT.
 The entire group that was with Locke is now inside of the Arrow Station. Bernard finds
the thermostat and turns up the temperature. Locke is standing off to the side looking
through his pack. Juliet comes up to him looking pretty horrid.

Juliet:

I didn't know it was possible to have a hangover without going to sleep.

Locke:

You didn't strike me as a drinker, Juliet. I think I have some aspirin in here somewhere.

Locke digs through his bag.

Juliet:

No, save it. I deserve to feel like this.

Locke:

Why do you say that?

Juliet:

I promised Sun, and myself, that I would get her off this island so she could have her
baby... safely.

Locke:

Who's to say that she didn't make it off?

Juliet:

I saw the freighter explode. They were on the ship.

Locke:

They made it there, you sure?

Juliet:

Yeah, at least, I know Sun and Jin did.

Locke:

Keamy, the henchman of the freighter... he had a devise on his arm that monitored his
heart rate. If his heart stopped, the ship would explode.

Juliet:

And Ben killed him didn't he?

Locke:
 Yeah. He even knew the consequences.

Juliet:

So, Ben moved the island then?

Locke:

Yes. He says he can't come back.

Juliet:

Ha, this is Ben we are talking about. He will be back. And when he does, I will kill him with
my own two hands.

Locke gives what Juliet is saying some thought. Juliet begins to laugh.

Juliet:

You know. We should've listened to you. I thought you were just another nut-job like Ben,
but it looks like you were both right.

Locke:

That's a problem with me. I am too likable and no-one takes me seriously.

Juliet:

Yes, you were very likable when you threw that knife into Naomi's back.

Locke pulls something out of his bag. It is aspirin. He hands it to Juliet.

Locke:

Despite what you may think, you do deserve this.

Juliet:

Thank you.

Juliet takes the aspirin, then gets up to walk away. As she does this she turns back to
Locke.

Juliet:

Oh yeah. Before I forget... what you said about the heat rising from the island... that isn't a
good thing, John.

Locke:

How do you mean?

Juliet:
 The island is geothermal powered. If the ground freezes then we may have a slight
problem.

Locke:

Good to know. Wait, Juliet. You said something earlier about Dharma researching
meteorology. Do you think they could've developed some sort of weather control machine?

Juliet:

This island is apparently a miracle island John...

Juliet looks down at Locke's legs.

Juliet:

... and a lot of crazy stuff may happen here, but a weather machine... I think even here,
that is impossible.

Locke:

You have to have faith Juliet.

Juliet:

There is a fine line between faith and science fiction. Besides, I never saw a station with
anything like that in the three years that I have been here.

Just as Juliet finishes saying that. Bernard chimes in:

Bernard:

Hey! I found something! There's a manhole over here! It looks like there's something below
us!

Juliet and Locke look at each-other and John smiles.

Locke:

Maybe that line between fiction and faith is finer than you thought.

13) INT. THE TUNNELS. NIGHT.

The three of them are walking in the ancient tunnels again. Cindy first, Charlotte second
and lastly Miles with the torch bringing up the rear. They are relatively silent until Charlotte
stops and holds up Miles. Cindy turns around.

Cindy:

Why are you stopping?

Charlotte:
 Shhhh.... did you hear that?

Miles:

Yeah. Yeah, I did.

The three of them stand there frozen as we hear very loudly the sound of the monster.

Miles:

Oh... I remember that sound (in an "oh shit" manner).

Cindy:

Me too...

Miles:

This isn't going to be pleasant.

(3:20)

14). ---FLASH--- INT. FLAME STATION. NIGHT. (Day 79).

Cindy is seen inside of the Flame station at Mikhail's computer. She finishes whatever
she is doing and she gets up from the computer. She then hears something and peeks
outside the door. She looks out and she sees Kate and John. This is obviously when Kate,
Sayid and Locke found the Flame in Season 3.

Kate:

John, let's go. We have to get a move on.

Locke:

Go on ahead. I want to check to see if he has any more guns in here.

Kate:

All right, I will be right outside.

Kate goes back outside through the front door and Locke goes down into the basement.
Cindy sees this as her chance to escape and makes her way towards the back door where
she is stopped outside by Isabel. Cindy looks horribly shocked by this.

Isabel:

Well, well, well... look what the cat dragged in.

Isabel looks down as the cat (the same that Sayid saw) followed Cindy out. She looks
back up at Cindy.

Isabel:
 Did you contact your outside friend? Don't think I wasn't on to you.

Cindy:

You all lied to me and told me Gary was alive.

Isabel:

How else were we supposed to convince you to work with us?

Cindy:

So, who knows?

Isabel:

Just me. I didn't want to go to Ben without proof. Do you honestly think I wouldn't know
that files were missing my from cabinet?

Cindy:

We were leaving the Hydra that night. I figured you wouldn't notice.

Isabel:

Oh, did I forget to mention the surveillance equipment? So, Cindy. Who is your outside
contact and what damage have you done?

Cindy looks down and then pretends to begin to faint where she falls back against the
Flame. She grabs on to a shovel. Isabel looks at Cindy as if she knows she is faking it.

Isabel:

Oh, please. Dramatics don't work with m...

Just then Cindy takes the shovel and smacks Isabel across the face with it. Isabel falls
and lands on the step right outside of the screen door.

Cindy:

No, but a shovel will.

The camera focuses on Isabel and then pans upwards where we see John walking out of
the front door. Cindy goes down to check on Isabel and looks around in a rather big panic.
Finally she begins to jog away from the Flame then suddenly it explodes. Cindy goes flying
through the air away from the Flame. She gets up and she looks back to see that Isabel is
nowhere to be seen. Cindy gets up and is out of breath as she says:

Cindy:

I guess that takes care of that.

 Cindy makes her way to the Vents where she goes inside and begins running through
the tunnels. She hears the sound of the monster and when she looks up she stops. She is
standing there and the smoke monster is coming up fast. She closes her eyes and the
monster stops right in front of her. It scans her for a few seconds then continues on around
her leaving her alone. Cindy turns and watches the smoke monster leave then she turns and
begins walking again. She walks into the camera as the flash ends.

(3:30)

15) ---END FLASH--- INT. TUNNELS. NIGHT.

Just as Cindy is coming out of the flash the three begin to run away from the sound of
the monster. They run towards towards a light that is at the end of the tunnel, but just as
they are nearing it, Miles falls with torch still in hand. Charlotte and Cindy stop and turn
around just in time to see the monster come up from behind Miles and hover over top of
him. Miles is stomach down on the floor and as he turns his head to look up at the smoke
monster, the monster takes Miles and drags him down from where they came from. He is
holding onto the torch the whole way and the camera stays on this until the light from the
torch is no longer seen. Cut to black with booming music.

16) INT. ARROW STATION. NIGHT.

Locke and Juliet make their way towards Bernard when Locke is abruptly stopped by
Harper.

Harper:

John, there is something you should know.

Locke:

Ok.

Harper:

I should have said this before, but I didn't want to panic the group after your wonderful
speech.

Locke gives Harper a blank, yet, unapproved stare.

Harper:

You see, Cindy isn't exactly one of our people. She uh, the brainwashing may not have
worked on her.

Locke:
 Where are you going with this Harper?

Harper:

About 10 years ago she left the island to go on a mission for us. While off the island, I think
her.. uh, she was compromised. When she got back we tried to get her back to how she
was, but it may not have been successful.

Locke:

What are you saying? She isn't what she seems?

Harper:

Exactly, and it isn't like her to just take off like this. She isn't one of us John. And by us, I
mean our new combined 'genesis' group.

John looks down and looks very lost. Nothing has gone right for him since the big move.

17) INT. THE TEMPLE. NIGHT.

Cindy and Charlotte make their way to their destination. The walls are all stone and old
and have the hieroglyphics all over the walls.

Charlotte:

(In disbelief) I can't believe Miles... he just... what was that thing?!

Cindy:

It doesn't matter.

Charlotte:

What do you mean, it doesn't matter?

Cindy:

He was going to die anyway.

Cindy takes a gun out of a secret place on the wall and points it at Charlotte.

Charlotte:

What is this? What are you doing?!

Cindy:

I felt it only right that you see her one last time before I killed her.

Charlotte:
 Who? What are you...

Cindy points towards a chair in the corner of the room. Charlotte gets up and rushes
over to see who it is. She is about to take the hood off of the person.

Cindy:

(very crazily like she is starting to lose it) Before you do that. I just want you to know that
this is the only way. Because you showed up, I have to do this now. It is the only way to
ensure things go as they should.

18) INT. THE ARROW. NIGHT.

Just as Locke makes his way over to the manhole that Bernard discovered and bends
down over it, the lights begin to flicker and then completely go out. We hear the sound of a
lighter and then suddenly there is light from Locke's torch. Locke then bends over the hole
in the ground and looks down in. This is exactly the same style of shot that we had when
Locke looked down into the hatch in the season 1 finale. The camera goes all the way down
the hole until Locke is way at the top.

19) INT. The Temple. NIGHT.

Cindy holds the gun higher to Charlotte and cocks the gun. Just then Sawyer comes in
holding a gun to Cindy.

Sawyer:

Hold up there, Cindy Brady. Put the gun down.

Cindy turns and points towards Sawyer. Just then the lights flicker and go out. There are
two gun shots and the flashes of the guns are the only thing seen. We hear a thunk of a
body hitting the floor. A few seconds go by then the flashlight that Cindy has turns on by
where her body was. The light moves around and then it focuses on Cindy's body with a
bullet hole in her head. We slip into Cindy's flash as the camera is zoomed in on her face.

(4:00)

20) ----FLASH---- INT. SYDNEY AIRPORT PILOT'S LOUNGE. DAY.

We see someone -arms and hands- slipping something into a drink. We then see Frank
Lapidus come up and take the drink off of the table and drink it. We then see Cindy in the
doorway looking back at Frank as he drinks it. Next we see Cindy walking out of an office
with the title 'Oceanic' on it with two men in suits. Next we know, they are walking into the
Pilot's Lounge and Frank is there passed out sitting in a chair. Cindy walks over to him and
secretly drops an empty airplane sized bottle of alcohol on his lap. She looks up at the two
men standing there.

Cindy:

What did I tell you, Mr. Dowling? He is drunk.

Mr. Dowling:
 Great, just great. Where are we supposed to find a pilot on this short of notice? We will
have to cancel the flight.

Cindy:

Not necessarily. I saw Captain Stewart earlier and he said that he switched flights with
another pilot. If you hurry, you could possibly catch him.

Mr. Dowling:

Cindy, you are a life saver. What would we do without you?

Cindy:

Anything for the safety of our passengers, sir.

Mr. Dowling:

(to other man in suit) Hurry along and page Captain Stewart. Also, get security and have
Mr. Lapidus escorted off of Oceanic property. Thank you again Cindy.

Cindy:

All in a days work.

Cindy has a rather evil look on her face. They all walk outside the lounge. Just then
Captain Stewart walks in. We can only see him from the back.

Mr. Dowling:

Ah, Captain Stewart. I just sent someone to page you.

The announcement comes over the loud-speaker. We briefly cut to the scene in "Expose"
where Shannon and Boone are fighting as Captain Stewart is called over the P.A. Then back
to Captain Stewart, Cindy and Mr. Dowling.

Mr. Dowling:

See. So how many hours do you have... (his voice trails off as the flash sound comes back
up)

We finally see the face of Captain Stewart and it is Joseph Stewart, the man who tried to
adopt Claire's baby. He gives Cindy a wink and Cindy winks back at him.

21) INT. The Temple. NIGHT.

Sawyer shines the light over onto Charlotte who is sitting there shocked. Sawyer runs
over to her. Charlotte gets up and begins to take the bag off of the person's head who is in
the chair.

Sawyer:
 (As he is running) You all right?

Charlotte shakes her head yes and then grabs the light off of Sawyer. She takes the bag
off of the woman's head and then shines the light on her. Charlotte looks absolutely
stunned. She looks the woman over and says:

Charlotte:

Mom?!
