The Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business
(PCDEB) is holding its 10th Annual Conference and the Fourth Annual
Business Education-Industry Summit on March 17-18, 2011. This activity
will serve as the national annual meeting of deans, business educators, and
industry partners for the country organized for the purpose of improving
the delivery of quality business education.
The theme of the convention is “Education for Success in Business,
Employment, and Life.” This year’s convention will be held at the Lyceum
of the Philippines University Auditorium, Intramuros, Manila.
The participants will be charged P3,000 for the two-day seminar.
The amount will cover cost of kit, handouts, meals and snacks, souvenir
program, and certificate of participation. Payments may be made in cash
or in check payable to the Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in
Business.
You will be glad to know that to augment schools’ accreditation
status, we are awarding Star Membership Awards in different categories to
schools with ten or more PCDEB members. Initial membership fee is
P500; renewal fee is P250. Payments may be made at the Philippine
Council of Deans and Educators in Business, CEU, Mendiola, Manila or
remitted during the conference.
The active participation of business educators in this worthwhile
endeavor will contribute immensely in upgrading the quality of business
education in our country. We are confident that you and your faculty
members will find time to take part in this academe-industry cooperative
undertaking and treasure the opportunity to give your share in making
education a potent instrument in nation-building.
