Auditions will take place starting Monday May 2.

The Directors will go

to Jefferson, Stinson, Garcia & Stevenson during your class time. If
you are at a different campus please email for audition. Please start
preparing the following:

All 12 Major Scales (ideally by memory but play all you know in
whatever capacity you can)

A Prepared Piece of Music of your choice (one that demonstrates

your BEST playing ability) ALL REGION BAND MEMBERS do not have
to play this portion of audition.

Sightreading

Everyone makes the Marching Band. The audition is to

determine band placement and Varsity or Junior Varsity Marching
Placement. A marching evaluation will also take place during
Freshman Camp so attendance is highly encouraged especially if
pursuing a Varsity Position.

FRESHMEN BAND: May 17, 18, 24, 26 from 5-7:30 PM

June 3-4 from 8 AM-12 PM (1:30-3pm also on the
4th)

($20 check made payable to O'Connor High School)

(FRESHMEN PARENT MEETING June 3... 7PM in Band Hall)

FULL BAND: Wednseday July 27 - to start of school 8 am

- 12 pm

(+ one 2 hour afternoon sectional per week during summer band)
