India is a 34,000 year old country 
India has a population of 1.18 billion people 
Ancient Indian history can be broadly divided into  three ages namely the Bronze Age, Indus valley  civilization and the Vedic age 
India got its independence From the British rule  on August 15
, 1947
India got its independence after almost hundred years of struggle and bondage 
Almost two-thirds of the working population of India is dependent on agriculture for its livelihood 
The geographical diversity of India makes it one of  the most sought after tourist destinations The national flag of India 
The saffron  color stands for courage  and sacrifice; the white  stands for purity and  truth and the color green  stands for faith and  fertility 
Akshardham is the largest 
 indu  temple in the world 
India's history, tradition, language, clothing, religion, and customs differ  from place to place within the country,butnevertheless possess a commonality.
The history of ancient India dates back 1700 B.C. beginning with the Indus Valley Civilization, which  flourished in the north-western part of  the Indian subcontinent.
