All the papers are for 100 marks with 40% for mid term and 60% for end examination.Business Communication and Soft skills of I Semester has both theory and laboratorycontent divided equally. Company and Industry Analysis are for 50 marks with evaluationdone internally at the end of the semester. The degree will be awarded after successfulcompletion of all the semester papers and submission of project report followed by Viva.The teaching methodology should emphasize on case study approach wherever appropriate with cases being of recent origin. The elective papers will be offered in the functional areas of Management such asMarketing, Finance, Human Resources, Systems and other contemporary fields of study.The students have options to choose any
subjects from the total list of subjectsoffered in 3
semester irrespective of the areas/field of study and
subjects from thelist of subjects offered in IV semester. The exact subjects to be offered by the institutionsconcerned is subject to administrative exigency (criteria such as availability of faculty,minimum of number of students are purely administrative matters).
While every effort has been made to include good references against each subject these are certainly not exhaustive. With large number of publications bothinternational and Indian, it is possible for students and faculty members to come acrossnew and good reference material for each subjects outlined. The faculty and students areencouraged to consult as many references as possible to have a broader perspective of the treatment of the subject.
