 Types Of DP Backups

• Selective:
Selective Unconditionally performs full online backup of the
specified domino database.

• Incremental:
Incremental Conditionally performs a full online backup of
the specified domino database under certain conditions.

• Archivelog:
Archivelog Backs up domino transaction log files when
archival logging style is in effect for the domino server.
 Types of DP Restore
• domdsmc restore:
restore
Restores a single or a group of databases.
- The DB is restored to the OS with .dad extension (ex:
dbname.nfs.dad)
- The .dad extension is removed by DP upon successful
activation.

• domdsmc restorelogarchive:
restorelogarchive
Restores an archived transaction log
