“Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who could not hear themusic.”This quote by Angela Monet best summarizes my feelings about my life…It’s a strangething……My Life!I’ve been seriously going over some of the high points and low points in my life for about a week now. I’m not sure why, but it’s definitely a good thing. I guess I’m moving forward at a slower pace than I would like and feel I should see where I’vebeen before I decide where to go next. Everybody should take a good look at themselves from time to time, assess what’s working; expand on it, or see what’s not working and change it. Notice I didn’t say, “eliminate” it in that last part. Obviously it had to be a decent idea at the time, but probably didn’t go the way you expectedeither because the timing wasn’t right or it wasn’t completely thought out. At anyrate, it can be changed and possibly redone. On a different note, I realized some time ago that I’m a very passionate person. Passion rules my world. I think if you love something, like me with writing, thenyou are absolutely passionate about it. The power of passion can never be underestimated. Whether it be writing, music, work, the gym, cooking, or even going shopping. In everything you do, you must feel it, if it is something you really do love.As I say quite often, I am moved by Passion, but there are other emotions at work in me as well.I love creativity in any form. There are so many opportunities to solve problemsand deal with life in general, by thinking “outside the box.” Creative people inspire me, especially musicians. Music is one of my greatest pleasures.I have one friend, in particular, Franz Voltaire (as he wishes to be called) whoI consider a “Future Musical Genius.” I’ve actually told him this on several occasions. Some laugh at that, but sometimes you look at someone, see what they are allabout, and just know they are destined for greatness. It may not always be the easiest path to success, but if you are as passionate as I know him to be, then it is just a matter of time, because people with his level of talent will not bedenied. I am in such awe of his talent.Compassion is another attribute worth paying attention to. A person cannot feeltruly alive without compassion. So many people need our compassion, but it seemsthese days, there are so few willing to show it. A tragedy in the greatest sense, considering the world as it is now. Too many people equate compassion with some form of natural disaster or serious disease; writing clever songs to bring the world together as one, and I guess it does that for a short time, but never long enough to really make the kind of difference this world needs. If I’m soundingcynical, I guess I am to an extent, though I would tell you it’s more like frustration, but that’s another story for another day.I know I seem to be writing a lot about so many things, but obviously these arethings on my mind at this moment. I do tend to write down things I’m thinking about at any given time, usually not paying attention as to whether or not they arerelevant to one another. Still anyone who knows me, knows this all makes sense in the grand scheme of things that I think about. My mind sometimes moves fasterthan my writing ability. I have to stop and smell the vowels from time to time!Anyway, as I’m sitting here writing this, I know I have to finish it up soon, because if it gets any longer, I’m going to be typing it for days. Despite my writingskills, I have yet to master the fine art of typing, though it is on my “to do” listfor this year. We’ll see how that goes!So to all of you who have taken the time out of your lives to read this, I ThankYou from the bottom of my heart. I know that it’s time you will never get back and I am honored you spent it on me. It shows me you care enough about me to wantto know what’s on my mind, in my heart, and where my life seems to be going. I hope someday to hear about you, your own passions, and your inner-most thoughts towhatever extent you choose to share. It helps us understand one another and it is only through understanding that we can all make this world a better place. A lofty goal, I know, but not impossible. For it s through this understanding thatwe create compassion, and where there is compassion, true passion cannot be far

this is good material, passion & compassion are major driving forces. The reading, however is difficult due to spacing/splitting over of words.
