3rd Canadian Ranger Patrol Group Mission:


To execute, defend and assist tasks, by providing
lightly equipped, self-sufficient and mobile forces,
with a view to contributing to Canada’s sovereignty
and domestic operations within Northern Ontario
boundaries.

Key Considerations:
• The Environment
– Environmental Officer will be present during the training
– The CF follows all Federal and Provincial environmental policies
– The Army has strong environmental guidelines that are followed
• Safety
– Our foremost concern is Safety for all
– General Safety Officer will be present during the training
– Safety is a responsibility for all CF Leaders
• Public Affairs
– Promote training via media and outreach
– Public Affairs Officer will coordinate communication to the local / regional media and our
internal CF audience
