The Case for Ron Paul

“We have lived as if in a trance, we have lived as people in fear, and now our rights and freedoms in peril, we slowly awaken to learn that we have been afraid of the wrong thing. Therefore tonight have we truly become inheritors of our American legacy. For on this first full day that the Military commissions act is in force
 ,
we now face what ourancestors faced, at other times of exaggerated crisis and melodramatic fear mongering, a government more dangerous to our liberty than the enemy it claims to protect us from.” -Keith Olbermann, MSNBC news

Democrats, Republicans, Independents, people from all different religions, races, and facets of life. We share one common thing among us: we are all Americans.Stop for a minute and forget about your party affiliation and all your differences
.Stop and think. Remember who you are. You’re an American. You stand forfreedom and liberty.
Yes in this modern age, you stand for the same things yourfounding fathers once stood for.
Wake up America, Wake up America. Can’t you see? Where are your leaders?
You might have heard something about him you haven’t liked. Maybe that hesaid something that was “crazy”, or maybe you’re thinking his 72 years are a bittoo many for a president. Maybe you think he really is crazy. After all, who daresto get rid of the IRS and send the troops home? He’s been referred to as aLibertarian, though he considers himself part of the Old Right, a Libertarian-leaning Republican.
“America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, itwill be because we destroyed ourselves.” –Abraham Lincoln
In the last few years we have entered a war we cannot likely win and spent moremoney than ever before. America’s future seams bleak. Our national deficit is ata record high and only projected to increase. Rumor of war with Iran is broodingon the horizon. Talks of a national electronic ID card come spinning out of

Congress. Furthermore, the middle class continues to shrink. The Canadiandollar is now worth more than the American dollar. But above all else, ourfreedoms are being eroded. It should have never come to this. And yet thegeneral public doesn’t seem to care. They complain and swallow hard. It’s not so much about Ron Paul, or putting him in office. It’s really about themessage he carries—a message of freedom and liberty,
putting the Constitutionback in office.
"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes the laws." - Mayer Amschel Bauer, who founded the Rothschild family
If he’s so great, why haven’t you heard of him? Ron Paul is in a tight spot. Themedia and the world elite will not easily support him, in fact they are alreadytrying to discredit him and his campaign. They don’t like him because Dr. Paulopposes the national debt and the current state of the Federal Reserve. The banksthat lend the money are owned or influenced by some of the most prominentmen in the media business.
Under President Paul, the system would change.
Ofcourse, this would not benefit the bank owners and investors. As “we thepeople” are put back in control, a loss of power and wealth would hurt theworld’s powerful elite.
“Those who give up essential liberties for temporary safety deserve neither liberty norsafety.” – Benjamin Franklin
Already you can see the media networks trying to pick the candidate for thepeople. Hillary, Guiliani, Obama, and Romney all step to take the front page. Butyet many American’s have their doubts. Can these candidates make Americagreat again? Do they have what it takes to be a great leader? There is a feeling of safety knowing that Paul will look to the constitution whenmaking a decision or voting for a bill. Presidents and politicians don’t always dowhat they say. But Paul has
10 terms in congress of consistency.
Not once has he

ever voted against the constitution or for a raise in taxes. No wonder congresscalls him “Dr. No.”
“The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home.” –James Madison
People are going to disagree with Ron Paul on many issues. His stand points onissues are so well defined that it’s hard not to disagree. But isn’t that better thanthe professional politicians who choose answers based on how popular it willmake them?

Ron Paul takes his views directly from the U.S. Constitution, thesupreme law of our land. The founding fathers would be proud of Dr. Paul!
But the big question is: can Ron Paul win?
His candidacy remains a long shot but his fundraising has skyrocketed this quarter. On November, 5
th
over 36,000people donated a stunning $4.2 Million in 24 hours ($115/person). What’s evenmore amazing is that this record breaking “money bomb”
was organized bysupporters alone
. If Paul reaches his goal of $12 million he will get massivepublicity. The message of
freedom is popular
. If Paul can win the primaries in anearly Republican primary election, the other states will follow. Ron Paul does notneed massive media support to win the elections. But he does
need

you and me
.I am utterly convinced that if Ron Paul’s message was widely circulated, hewould easily become America’s next president.
Dr. Paul does have his shortcomings, but his message does not.
His message should make you proud to bean American. It’s time to reignite the same spirit that lit the greatest country the world has everknown. Stand for freedom and liberty, join the Ron Paul revolution today! In the words of Lee Greenwood:
And I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free. And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me. And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
