How to Access and Transfer Local Files during a RemoteDesktop Session
Want to copy files between your local computer and the Remote Desktop host computerwhen you're connected to an XP Pro machine via the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP)?Here's how:
When you connect to the remote computer using the Remote Desktop Connection(RDC) client, click the Options button on the RDC logon dialog box.2.
Click the Local Resources tab.3.
Check the Disk Drives checkbox under Local devices.4.
Click the Connect button at the bottom of the dialog box. This enables drive redirection. If you don't do this, you might receive an error message"Cannot copy file: Cannot read from the source file or disk" when you try to copy andpaste information between the local computer and the Remote Desktop host, or the Pastecommand may be unavailable.
III. The SPYWARE Strikes Back! By Eddie L Hines
Microsoft and the big hardware manufacturers are more and more confronted withhelpdesks being flooded with problems related to spyware. It's the next Internet Plague. Afew years ago it was spam, and now it's spyware. Since over 50% of U.S. households areconnected via broadband, getting infected with spyware has taken on epidemicproportions. Spyware now has (as they call it) reached critical mass, and is actually worsethan viruses. Why? There is money in it. Biiiiig money as a matter of fact.Spyware is a generic term for many different kinds of malware. Some are fairly friendlylike tracking cookies, but there is malicious code out there that really has no other motivethan to steal. That might be your identity, or the use of your computer, and/or your socialsecurity and credit card info. In many cases, it is now organized cyber crime that doestheir nefarious work via internet sites in Russia or Asia.If you see pop-ups you did not ask for, or your browser gets hijacked, or your PC isslowing down and your CPU is busy inexplicably, you have a good chance your PC is"owned" by someone other than you. Computers that are "always on" are now often usedto send spam, send viruses, or are parts of a network of "zombies" that are controlled bythe bad guys and used to attack another site. There is currently freeware that will detect and delete this malware, but what you reallyare going to need is a product that detects, deletes and protects! We are looking at a betaof a tool like this, and we like it a lot. It's more and more necessary to get yourself aproduct like this. You could call it a "spy-wall". For the moment, do not buy anythingyet, we'll tell you how that beta is behaving the next few weeks and we might recommenda really good solution in a short while.MORE

“Read All of It”
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, forreproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. —2 Timothy 3:16
Bible In One Year:Ezekiel 47-48; 1 John 3 Some Christian families follow the practice of reading through the whole Bible. Afterevening meals, they read a chapter or two. They read from Genesis to Revelation, skipping nothing. Even the genealogies with their hard-to-pronounce names are readaloud.Read God's Word straight through and you'll begin to see the unfolding plan of God'sredeeming grace, and that you were the object of His love even before you were born. Doit once, and you'll want to do it again. —Vernon Grounds
Oh, may these heavenly pages be My ever dear delight, And still new beauties may I see, And still increasing light. —Steele
Those who only sample the Bible never acquire a taste for it
