Panasonic TC-P65S2 65-Inch 1080p PlasmaHDTV Review
WOW !!!! We haveonly had this TV for about 3 weeks but sofar we are blown awayat the picture. We have2 42" LCD's Vizio andToshiba and wereplaced a 6 year old57" Sony rear projection with the TC-P65S2, This TV beatsall of them. Could notbe happier. We did a lotof research before purchasing and so far it was the rightchoice. Thought about the 54" G-20 but we think thebrightness and calrity of the S2 was far better. Werented Avatar and sat there in amazment. The quality isimpressive. I also thought this TV would be to big for the room we use but was wrong.. The size is perfect...

Hopefully there will be years of use.. BTW Amazon andCEVA delivery were spot on..Set delivered 12/20/10 by "Pilot" (one of Amazon'sshipper options). Set was scheduled in advance for delivery between 11AM and 1 PM. I called at 12:30P tocheck and was told "I don't know why, but it was never put on the truck." Rescheduled (fortunately, we wereplanning to be home anyway) for by 4:00PM at thelatest. It was delivered by two men, who helped unpack and physically install it into our cabinet, at 2:45PM. So,except for the delay, everything about the delivery wascompletely satisfactory. BTW, I've ordered a coupleother (smaller) items from Amazon and each of themhas been delivered exactly as promised. The TV itself is beautiful and works great. We alreadyhad a Panasonic VCR/DVD recorder/player (the modelthat plays DVD-RAM disks) and it turned out that theold remote for that machine will turn on/off, changechannels, adjust volume, etc. on the new 65" TV aswell. And we don't even have HDMI cables. Once youget used to the way their system is designed to work,

everything works beautifully! I didn't even have tocolor-callibrate it; I simply chose the "Cinema" color setting and all colors were perfect. The way Panasonicdesigns things has always worked well for us----logical,simple, intuitively arranged. I plan to submit a follow-up review after some time has passed, but so far weabsolutely love this TV and don't expect any problemswith it.Until I ordered this TV, I was NOT eager to buy onlinebecause I like to "hold things in my hands", rather thanrely on product photo's, which can SOMETIMES besomewhat deceiving, (and we did look the set over firstat "Best Buy", but Amazon could deliver it quicker atChristmastime and, since Best Buy's customer service isgenerally PATHETIC, I realized I wasn't actuallysacrificing a thing to choose Amazon) and, so far, we'veenjoyed a COMPLETELY POSITIVE experience withAmazon.
