The Discrete Element Method has successfully been used to model the behavior of material flow in transfer stations. This paper discusses several methods of presenting the data from discrete element simulations in a concise and beneficial form. These measurements are also used as a learning tool to better understand and visualize how material transfers from one belt to the next.
