This pattern is designed to be done using the paper piecing method of construction. The pattern isshown in reverse to the final design and there is no need to invert the pattern before construction. Toprepare pattern pieces for sewing, copy or print the pattern onto vellum paper. When cutting out the
pieces, add ⅜” around all inside pattern edges and ½” to all outside pattern edges (
left side of A andE, left side and bottom of F, bottom of G, top and right side of H, right side of I and J, right side andbottom of K
). After piecing each section, trim inside seam allowances to ¼”, leaving ½” around theoutside edges. After the block has been assembled, square the block up to 6½” x 6½”, centering the
design so it loo
ks good to you. The finished block size is 6” x 6”.
