SCHEDULE 730POWER QUALITY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES(NO NEW SERVICE)
To provide Customers with products that protect their electronic equipment or their entireelectrical system from potential power surges, spikes and outages.
In all territory served by the Company.
Applicability is dependent upon the specific product.
Customers may choose any or all of the following products:
Meter Socket Adapter (MSA) Surge Suppressors
are devices installed beneath the200 amp, single phase Electricity meter that protect the Customer’s electrical systemfrom high voltage surges or spikes.
Home Surge Protection Center (HSPC) Surge Suppressors
are devices installednear a 320 amp Electricity meter and provide electricity surge suppression, with theoption to purchase telephone and/or cable surge protection.
Inside Outlet Surge Suppressors
provide additional protection for sensitive electronicequipment, phone and cable television (CATV) protection. Features include surgeprotection that exceeds the Company’s recommended standard, safety fusing forprotection elements and a warranty on surge suppressor or product damage.
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
provides Customers with a secondary powersupply and surge protection which protects Customer equipment from damage causedby power outages or voltage instability. The following two devices are available:
– This model is an automatic voltage regulator UPS that can support upto 800 VA and 480 watts of customer equipment for approximately 20 minutes.
– This model provide standby UPS for 500 VA and 300 watts ofcustomer equipment for approximately five minutes.
